AMD Technologies’ Half Body Protection Aprons are great for your everyday radiation protection needs. These are used to help protect technicians’ and patients’ gonadal areas.
Two sizes are available: 16″ x 18″ and 24″ x 24″. Both models offer 0.5mm pb equivalent protection.
Also available are optional colors, fabrics, larger pockets, monogramming and enhanced protection. Call and ask for details.

Models include 20705 and 20715.
All of our Frontal Protection Aprons are 0.5 mm pb equivalent.
Standard protection is provided by multi-ply lead impregnated vinyl material that is covered in a nylon material.
The weight of the aprons can be reduced by selecting two alternative protective materials: Tin-Lead or Non-Lead options. Tin-Lead offers 0.5mm lead equivalency of regular lead at 100 kVp. Non-Lead offers 0.5mm lead equivalency of regular lead at 90 kVp.
Using the drop down menus above you can select model, size, protection type, with or with/out attached thyroid collar and color/pattern of outer covering.
All of our Half Body Protection Aprons come in the same size groups:
Model 20705 – Petite – 16″ x 18″ – 6 lbs.
Model 20715 – Average – 24″ x 24″ – 8 lbs.
